As part of our Global Goals programming initiative, in 2016 UNA-Tampa Bay will be conducting a series of events and programs focused on the issue of sustainability. Our goal is to create awareness among the younger generation of the Bay. We began our outreach with local elementary schools. The issue of climate change was selected as a keynote topic for our upcoming Model United Nations Conference which will be attended by middle and high school students. Throughout the year, we will be engaging with Tampa Bay public on sustainability through education, collaboration, and through the distribution of sustainability car decals at our events. We aim to conclude the year with our annual fundraiser showcasing the art exhibition of renowned nature photographers local to Florida.
