On January 12, 2017, Dr. M. Scott Solomon, associate professor at the University of South Florida, launched our first human rights event of the year. Dr. Solomon’s talk focused on migrant rights and was part of UNA-Tampa Bay’s monthly Signature Human Rights lecture series.
The lecture focused on international migration, specifically the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.
