UNA-Tampa Bay is excited to host our 4th lecture as part of our signature human rights lecture series, focusing on children’s rights. This event features Kelley Parris, executive director of the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County. Mrs. Parris has worked in the field of prevention for 25 years and founded Harriet’s House, a domestic violence shelter that services five counties in Alabama. She frequently presents on the topics related to children’s services and was recently awarded for her innovative programs in government by Auburn University’s Center for Government.
